About Alex Rivera

Alex started trading forex in his apartment in Miami in 2014 with a $2,000 account and a lot of overconfidence. He blew that account in three months. The humbling experience sent him deep into technical analysis, and he spent the next two years studying chart patterns, indicator mechanics, and price action before putting real money back on the line. He passed the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) Level 1 and 2 exams and eventually built trading into his primary income. These days he spends his mornings at his six-monitor setup and his afternoons writing about the methods that actually work, and the ones he wishes someone had warned him about earlier. His approach is unapologetically practical: if it's not useful for an actual trade, he's not interested in writing about it.
